Powerful libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn are some of Python’s most popular visualization frameworks, allowing analysts and decision makers within the domains of business and finance to work seamlessly within the most commonly used Python development environments.
During this hands-on, one-day course, attendees will learn the basics of using visualization tools within Python, including conducting exploratory data visualization exercises with various real-world datasets. In today’s highly robust and data-rich world, there is only so much one can glean from looking at traditional descriptive statistics. Enter Python's seamless and versatile ability to generate easy to comprehend and explore graphics, charts, and interactive plots.
This workshop will also equip users with an understanding of foundational course context areas including an overview of descriptive statistics.
Attendees can use either a Mac or Windows computer for this class.
Please note that basic Python programming skills are required for this course. Cognitir will provide an outline of required skills and recommend a free, online Python course to participants if no prior skills are existent.
Attendees will be exposed to some of the most popular visualization and data plotting libraries within the Python ecosystem such as Matplotlib and Seaborn.
Throughout the course, students will practice creating robust and insightful data visualizations.

In order to successfully complete this course, you do need to have basic knowledge of the Python programming language. Please look at our Introduction to Python course as a baseline for relevant knowledge required for the visualization class. Cognitir will also recommend a free, online Python course to participants for this course which needs to be completed if no equivalent skills are existent.
