Product Management - SQL Project
Product managers are often expected to track and maintain their own analytics, either to get to know their customers better and identify problems or to measure against OKRs.
In this exercise, you are a product manager at an edtech start-up which has not yet invested in biz ops or data analysts. The Head of Product has asked you to learn more about the usage and retention of our app.
In this SQL project, you will create three queries to pull relevant information from a database to answer your Head of Product's specific app usage and retention questions.
You can cancel anytime before the end of a month to discontinue your subscription for the next month.

Alisa is a Product Manager at a fintech start-up called Tegus. Her team is building the leading qualitative research SaaS platform for buy-side investors. Before Tegus, Alisa started her career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where she partnered with both Fortune 500 and start-up companies to drive go-to-market strategy, cost optimization, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. She has a background in data analytics and holds a degree in Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University, where she graduated as the first female engineer in the Integrated Business & Engineering (IBE) honors program. Outside her full-time job, she serves as President of the Board for Ascent Microfinance, a non-profit she founded to provide small loans to those with poor credit scores.

Will I need to download and install SQL software or does the project utilize a browser-based environment?Yes - you will need to download and install PostgreSQL. We will provide you with detailed instructions on how to do this after you enroll in the project. Our goal is to prepare you for your jobs which means exposing you to real-world tools that you'll find in the workplace.
